Scotland’s very own Comic Con event is set to return once again to Glasgow next month with a whole host of exciting guests and attractions.
The MCM Scotland Comic Con is blasting back to the SEC, Scotland’s largest exhibition centre between September 23 and 24 September.
This exciting event will give fans in the city two fantastic days with everything featured from comic books, films, video games and science fiction to cosplay, anime, steampunk and online videos. There is guaranteed to b something for all to enjoy.
Joining MCM Scotland Comic Con’s special guest line up will be members from the cast of the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers in the form of Blue Ranger, David Yost; Black Ranger, Walter Jones and the energetic and spirited Yellow Ranger, Karan Ashley.
For fans of animation, Veronica Taylor a special anime guest and voice acting talent, best known for roles in Pokémon, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Slayers, is also set to appear at this year’s show. Joining her will be the star of Attack on Titan and Sword Art Online, Bryce Papenbrook, who has been a successful professional voice over artist since starting at the young age of eight.
All of the pop-culture professionals will be available throughout the weekend’s events for photography sessions and the signing of autographs. Each of the artists involved will also be around to chat about behind the scenes gossip, to tease upcoming film plots, and to take questions from the audience.
In addition to all of the fun and famous faces already lined up for this year, the organisers of the event have also announced that they have big plans to add more guests to the already existing line up in due course. Even more to look forward to then!
Elsewhere at MCM Scotland Comic Con in Glasgow this year, fans can find a whole host of other incredible artists and writers of comic books, events looking to promote and celebrate Asian culture, exhibitions of steampunk and loads of fun for the kids with the children’s entertainment lined up.
The event will also host a whole range of exciting exhibitors and retailers of the industry, including big brand movie studios, well known video game and comic book publishers, as well as a great mixture of anime and manga distributors.
